It was love at first sight at CanAm in 2011 when Val spotted a beautifully built and fast little tri-colored border collie running on Rocket Relay's multibreed team. Luckily for Val, love was in the air, and only a few months later, she was flying home with a new border/whippet pup from Witness and Dragon. Dagger is proof that, without exception, Val knows how to pick the pup that will grow to be the largest in any litter!

With all that size has also come speed. He made his singles racing debut in December 2013 and posted line-to-line 3.6s and 3.7s throughout the weekend... and nearly took off Val's shoulder hitting the tug on every run. In 2014 he made his debut on a team and still dabbled in singles, posting some smoking times that put him in U-FLI's top 5 singles dogs for the year and top 10 singles dogs of all time. Dagger joined our young speedy X Calibur lineup in 2015 and loves running with his half brothers Viking and Tribal and his littermates Trilogy and Elf.
