I was not exactly planning to get a puppy when Choice came home, but I fell in love with her spunky personality and energy at 7 weeks old ... and that energy has never waned! She was easy to train for flyball (and anything else) and was running in the pack on a team not long after her debut. Choice was a fun and easy dog to run. She was always quiet in the lineup but would constantly be trying to PUUULLLLLLLL you into the lane for her turn. She ran for anyone in any position and was always willing to help out by running against a green dog or puppy.

Choice is energetic even for a Moy dog -- her breeder described her as "hell on wheels" as a puppy, and she was not wrong. She is happy all the time and is very sweet to everyone (and every dog) that she meets. She tries so hard to do what you ask of her all the time, you cannot help but adore her. Choice did some herding in 2009 and had a ton of fun with sheep. (Her handler is still dizzy!) We tried out treibball in 2011, since those "sheep" don't move on their own! But Choice has trouble understanding the point of any activity that is not done at top speed.

Unfortunately Choice's hyper-mobile joints require frequent trips to the chiropractor, so as she aged, she mostly helped out at practice and filled in on a team wherever she was needed. She was one of our go-to practice dogs and could be counted on to run as any part of any drill that we could think up, over any jump height, with whatever props, whatever handler, and with whatever other dogs. She even made the trip to CanAm in 2014 and ran on our fastest team to fill in for her wounded whippet housemates.

Choice retired from flyball in late 2016. She has a full-time office job now, which she takes quite seriously. We expected nothing less!

Choice is from Moy Hall Farm's second Cassie x Jed breeding. Her siblings and half-siblings are playing flyball and agility throughout North America.
