Dragon made it clear early-on that he was going to be something special. His attitude and athleticism made him easy to train, and he debuted in singles racing in June 2010 when he was 14 months old. By the end of the weekend, he was the fastest whippet of the year, and a few weeks later, he broke U-FLI's singles racing record with a 3.603 second run.

He joined our X Treme lineup a few months later and helped us set new best times at five consecutive tournaments, including at the 2010 U-FLI Championship. Dragon was part of each of our team's new best times from his debut until his kids took over in 2014. At CanAm in 2014, Dragon got to run with two of his kids (Trilogy and Tribal) in a lineup on Saturday and got our team qualified for the Sunday CanAm invitational. He is a fierce competitor who loves to pour on the speed to win a close race.

Unfortunately Dragon suffered a partial then a complete gracilis tear in 2014 and 2015. With his lifelong happiness and well-being in mind, we decided to retire him from flyball competition. These days he is an active and very spoiled guy at home.

Dragon's littermates are excelling in agility, dock diving and flyball (for Burnin' Rubber and Ruff Enuff).

Dragon is the proud dad to five dogs on our team who helped propel our team into the 14s, starting in April 2014:
