Accomplishments

Qirra was the Rottweiler that Kathy and Alex waited 11 years to get. They picked her because she just had this sparkle to her personality that they both fell in love with. They had wanted a big girl and had chosen her litter because both of her parents were huge and dad was a gorgeous Champion. Qirra ended up being a throwback to her German lines and stayed small and extremely athletic with awesome drive and speed. They were thrilled with her! She was so much fun to play with that Kathy stole her from Alex and taught her flyball! She loved the game, but she actually loved meeting all the people more! Qirra was a very social girl and LOVED people! So much so that she would often run down to the box and stop to visit with the box judge before getting her ball and coming back to Kathy! This would sometimes frighten people at first, seeing a Rottweiler make a beeline for them, until she would wiggle her butt and give a big Rottie kiss before grabbing her ball and finishing the race! Qirra would always spit her ball if Kathy had anything in her hands, so she ended up running for a butt rub and hugs. She finished her career in NAFA with an FM and was ranked #11 all-time for Rottweilers when she retired. She enjoyed a long and happy retirement filled with swimming and simply being Alex's pride and joy.

Kathy and Alex said goodbye to Qirra on July 19, 2014. She will be greatly missed!
